Sweet Intoxication in our garden in Melbourne Australia in early autumn. Bought this one recently because of how good the fragrance was reputed to be and I wasn’t disappointed. It was so good I almost laughed. No surprise really, with Perfume Perfection as a parent. If only most/all its blooms were this colour!

I bought 2 of these a few years back as the beginnerest of beginners and overpruned them their first year. They survived and give me a few gorgeous blooms that are worth the wait. The fragrance is unbelievable! I've never smelled a lovelier rose. The only complaint I have is that they make awful cut flowers, often wilting within the same day they were cut. On the bush they last better.

My first, and favorite rose! My 7 year old son picked it out because he wanted a yellow rose. It's become my favorite garden plant! No blackspot, ever, and tons of cheerful, buttery yellow blooms every year! In cold weather her blooms take on a pink tinge.
